Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Absolutely gorgeous view! Fantastic food. Yes it’s a little pricey but it’s in a very exclusive location. They served us amazing food, very friendly efficient staff, we were a group of 4 (American & Canadian tourists) and they treated us very well. The anchovy appetizer was wonderful, the fresh fish with potatoes was delectable. The fish was delicate and tender and melted in your mouth like butter. Simply prepared pasta with anchovies and tomato was a favorite of our group. We loved it!"
"Delicious food and great staff. We sat on the patio and a table closer to the water opened up and they offered us the "better" table on the patio. Muscoli and Spaghetti frutti di mare were fantastic! Can't forget the unbelievable view. This restaurant was a great experience for my wife and I."
"The restaurant has a lovely view over the port, great for lunch. We walked in without a reservation. The food was good. Service was okey. The steak was perfectly cooked. We had delicious lunch but then services started to be slow. We ordered desserts and waited for about 30 minutes. The waiter actually forgot our orders and had no apologize, we had to cancel desserts and asked for coffee instead because there was no time to waste on our one day trip. A bottle of water was charged for 3€ (unlike in France where you can ask for free). The price was reasonable for the restaurant with Michelin guide."
"This is a popular restaurant so you need to reserve a table. Service was very good and the food some of the best we have had in Cinque Terre. The fillet of sea bream was perfectly cooked, juicy with a flavoursome sauce that did not detract from the delicate flavour of the fish. Also, the best carbonara imaginable! Tables are a little near each other and the atmosphere a noisy but it was the sound of a happy restaurant."
"Great views and ambience with pretty good food (Michelin acknowledged). We booked a table here a few weeks in advance (it is usually fully booked for dinner). The menu is quite small but well formed. You might struggle for choice if you are vegetarian/vegan. We had the Trofie pasta with a delicious Pomodoro sauce (though pesto is the region's specialty) and the fish with mixed vegetables (type of fish wasn't specified). The fish was not good unfortunately. For dessert we got the Tiramisu (nothing spectacular, but nice) and the green apple sorbet (very delicious and refreshing!) The staff seemed quite rushed during our particular seating, but were overall pleasant. This place would probably be rated better if the food was a bit better honestly. Still a great location to eat dinner and watch the sunset."
"Excellent view Service was good - note 4.5 euro service charge per person Food decent but expensive"
"A lot of reviews saying this place is expensive but it's actually quite reasonably priced given the location! The food was really good and the service was spot on. The seafood is fresh and the ceviche was some of the best I've had. We really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this restaurant!"
"Spectacular experience! Stephano did a superior job preparing meals. Food, service and atmosphere were all top notch. The location is in the heart of the marina. The local wine recommendation was spot on. This restaurant clearly earned its nod Michelin nod!"
